Valentines Day 2010

I love LOVE love holidays! I love making crafts with the boys for the different celebrations. It's definitely something that makes me happy.

My sweet husband makes chocolate covered strawberries for me every year on Valentines Day. I love them! They not only taste good but they look beautiful! What a good man I have! :)

I love Valentines Day, not because it's a romantic day but because it's so much fun to make lots of pink heart shaped stuff! :) Here are some things we did this year.

I love making pink heart shaped pancakes. It's been a tradition in my family for years, the pink part anyways. When Daniel and I got married I started making them heart shaped. It's so fun! The boys loved them this year too!

This is my favorite tradition that I've started!! Nate and I started these last year but he didn't remember so we did it again this year. They boys had so much fun I think we'll do it every year. We call it our "Heart Family." A few days after we made them the eyes fell off of the pink one (how ironic to make "mommy" blind!) and every time we sit at the table the boys point to it and say, "what happened to the pink one's eyes?" It's so funny. We have the same conversation at every meal! lol silly boys!
