(Okay I really tried to put pics up from the summer but I waited for 20 minutes and they still didn't load so I'll try again another day.)
Yay!!! we have internet again!!!! Actually I loved not having it this summer. I realized I didn't have to check my email 40 times a day and there actually are other things to do besides be on the computer browsing "stuff" that I can't remember 10 minutes after I looked at it.
We have had a very busy summer! We started off in May going to OK City the visit my family and start our summer off by going to the temple. It was a very short trip but as always it was fun.
In June we went to Tennessee for my great grandma's 90th birthday party. We had a great time visiting family and seeing old friends. We loved driving around beautiful Tennessee!! I just couldn't get over how great it was. It's very different from Springfield.
A few weeks later Daniel went to scout camp for a whole week! Leaving me with both kids! Luckily he talked his brother into going with him to be an extra leader so his wife, Crystal (one of my two best friends) and her little girl Zadia came to live with me for a week. We were so pitiful! We missed our men after they'd been gone only a couple hours. My boys took turns not sleeping and I just happened to be so sick the week Daniel left and I ran off of about 3 hours of sleep a night. But luckily the week went by fast enough.
For the 4th of July I took the boys to Daniel's aunts house to have a family BBQ. We left before the fireworks because Daniel was a work and I hate chasing kids around fire alone.
A few weeks later we went to Kansas City to visit Daniel's brother James and his wife Terra. We had a great time with them. We were able to go to a church history site Adam-ondi-Ahman and it was beautiful!!! I loved it so much! We also went to a baseball game and Nate had the BEST time!! He LOVES sports and he was cheering for the team and having a great time. I loved watching him enjoy it. James and Terra don't have any kids yet so their apartment isn't quite baby proof but the boys were relatively good. I am so grateful that they are so good for the most part. We were there for several days and when we got home the boys were so glad to see their toys again. Nate kept running in circles in our living room as if he was so glad to have space to run again!
Knowly has started walking!!!!! He can take a few steps at a time. It's so much fun to see him grow. He can wave, blow kisses, and tell me he wants down by using his hands.
We ended our summer of trips by going to OK City and spending 3 days in the temple. It was such a blessing! It's so wonderful to feel the peace and comfort the spirit brings and gain the strength and power God gives us for attending the temple. We loved seeing my family again and they loved seeing the boys. It's so cute to see my sisters love on my boys.
Aside from going every where this summer we have received so many other blessings. We started out the summer wondering how we were going to make ends meet because Daniel wasn't going to be able to get very many hours at work. We prayed very hard, payed our tithing, and left it in the Lord's hands. He GREATLY blessed us. We planned on Daniel trying to get 3o hours a week. It looked difficult because he was only scheduled for 25ish a week. Every week that we haven't been out of town he has been able to pick up shifts and he got at least 4o hours a week! SOmetimes he even got over time! A couple weeks he got over 5o hours!!! It was AMAZING!!! It's been hard since Daniel is working several nights a week and my boys don't like to sleep well on the nights he's gone, but we're still good.
It also turned out that not going to Utah ended up be a very big blessing. Of course there was the thing with my teeth that kept us from going in the first place but then we found out that student loans won't be coming in until 2 weeks after Daniel starts school and he'll be going back to his 20 hour work weeks and we'll need the little bit of left over money for rent to tide us over until loans come in. So there is a plan in everything.
We've had a wonderful summer! It's been busy and crazy but for the most part good. The boys are healthy and happy. Knowly got 4 teeth over the summer!! He's so cute and so big. Nate is learning how to play "go-fish" and matching stuff. He's so smart.

Wow, what a busy summer. Isn't it amazing how everything turns out in the end even when you don't know if it will at the time and you don't know how it will.
